Giving Up

I was looking through my journal tonight and found this from last year at this time. A poem of sorts.

Giving Up

Teach me to lose myself in you
Teach me to lose myself
my desires
my plans
And be consumed by you
your desires
your plans
I'm giving up my fear
I've been hanging on too long
It drives me from your doorstep
And parks me in the alley of indecision
I'm giving up

Dean I loved the poem. Here's a great one to read for 30 days straight especially after you have given up.

Christ-here is my brain-think through it.

Christ-here is my face-glow through it.

Christ-here are my eyes-look at people through them.

Christ-here is my heart-love people with it.

To keep your self-love growing and glowing, follow a winner. Read His words. Meet Christ in the Bible. Join the happy Christians in your community church. You will catch His spirit. He will live His life through you. Your life can be a glove with Christ's hand in it. You'll find life is worth living when you find a God worth loving.

Love what you guys are doing in Seatle. God is Good!
